There are 18 different wines to taste and dessert wines are also available. If you love cats, you’ll love meeting the rescue cats that call the property home.
La Belle Amie Vineyard

Located on 38-acres of land, La Belle Amie Vineyard and Winery has been owned by the same family for over 100 years and is one of the most romantic places in South Carolina!

Chattooga Belle Farm
Chattooga Belle Farm, which sits on 198-acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains, is a distillery that also produces a selection of wines made from the fruit that is grown on site.

Duplin Winery

Elevation 966 Winery

Lazy Bear Winery

Lazy Bear Winery, which is situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, grows much of the fruit and berries used to produce their wines right on site and the rest come from other local farms.
These artisanal wines, which also include a selection of Muscadine wines and honey meads, are available by the glass and by the bottle and you can book a tasting that also includes a tour of the facility. After you’re done drinking make sure to check out the selection of natural soy wax candles that are made at the winery as well.
The Winery Mercer House

When you arrive at The Winery Mercer House, you’re made to feel welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed so you can enjoy some fine wine while surrounded by pretty vineyards. It’s a great escape from the city of Columbia.
Speaking of the wine, it’s organic and natural which is a rarity in the United States. The Muscadine grapes are grown on site and the wines come in a variety of flavor profiles. It’s good to know that at this South Carolina winery the fee for the tasting is waived if you purchase two bottles of wine!
Victoria Valley Vineyards

Wellborn Winery

Wellborn Winery is a small facility specializing in traditional Italian wines in a tiny South Carolina town called Travelers Rest. The grapes grown in the on-site vineyard and used in most of the wines made at the winery are American and European varieties, but there are also fruit and berry wines available.
You can enjoy your selection in the tasting room or outdoors on the covered patio or around the fire pits. If you have a furry friend, you’ll be happy to know that dogs are welcome here!
Hyman Vineyards
Several types of Muscadine grapes are grown at Hyman Vineyards near Conway and these grapes are used to produce a variety of dry, medium, and sweet wines. A selection of jams, sauces and juices are also produced using these grapes.
Tours of the vineyard can also be arranged in advance. There is also a store in Florence where you can taste a few of their different wines.
