This community coffeehouse is actually a nonprofit, so you can get a cup of joe with a side of good deeds. It’s set in the heart of downtown, and strolling downtown is one of the best things to see in Myrtle Beach. The space also serves as an art and performance venue, which means there is often a fun show of some kind taking place. 

They brew beans from all over the world, and the espresso drinks tend to air on the strong side. The drip coffee is a solid standard that won’t let you down. 

The atmosphere is eclectic, comfy, and funky with whimsical touches everywhere you turn. There are board games and plenty of used books, so basically it’s impossible to be bored at Fresh Brewed.

Brown Fox is the cutest coffee stand on the coast. The roasts are all high-quality and they have both hot and cold drinks as well as special seasonal selections. 

They offer a variety of classic espresso creations and a few signature drinks including the Mexican Fox Mocha and the Foxy Chai Latte. The allergy information is all listed so you don’t have to worry if you have any sensitivities.

It’s set right on the waterfront and is the most scenic way to start the day in Myrtle Beach. They even sell some swag with the adorable Brown Fox logo on it.

For some of the best coffee in Myrtle Beach, head to Grand Strand! Located inside of Market Commons is the iconic Grand Strand Coffee.

They have a real passion for coffee, the farming, and the process, and as such, they’re always sourcing the best roasts. They tend to offer two at any given time, from Columbia, Papua New Guinea, and anywhere in between. 

It’s family-owned and operated and actually started as a cold brew stand over a decade ago. There are a few tables outside for sipping your beverage al fresco in the warm Carolina sunshine. The Sweet and Spicy Latte is a crowd favorite here and for a special treat try the affogato.

The Social Coffee Shop is part of the popular attraction Broadway at the Beach and one of the sweetest coffee shops in Myrtle Beach.

They specialize in fair trade and organic coffees, always working with local suppliers to offer only the freshest selections. The patio is a lovely place to spend some time sipping a hot or iced beverage.

The menu is simple but every drink is carefully crafted and there’s usually a seasonal option on deck. It’s also one of the only places around to try an authentic Turkish coffee and they have some great vegan drinks as well. The super desert-esque frappes are also a big hit among sweet tooths, like the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frappe.

Locally owned and operated, Beach Dreams is the mecca for artisan coffee in Myrtle Beach. Custom blend loose leaf teas are also quite a draw here for those who want to sip something softer.

The beans are roasted locally on the coast in small batches so they’re super fresh and are sold by the ounce so you can even take some home with you, ground just the way you want. 

The specialty lattes are especially craveable here, like the lavender or vanilla hazelnut. There’s even an option to add CBD to your drinks for an extra bit of relaxation. 

The location is ideal as the shop is practically seaside. The ambiance is kitschy and comfortable. Handmade personal products like soaps, lotions, sprays, oils, and scrubs are available, as well, which is a lovely touch.

It began with the simple belief that local is better, Hi-Fi Coffee Bar is a haven for supporters of small businesses. All the beans are sourced from independent roasters along the Carolina coast. They offer a range of freshly baked goodies to try as well as the best bagels around.

They also have premium ice cream available if you really want to start your day off with a sweet treat. 

On a healthier note, the fruit smoothies are fantastic here. For a special tropical moment that photographs well, they will even serve it inside of a pineapple! It has a fun and hip vibe that’s almost industrial with quirky touches around like a vintage Pac- Man machine, vinyl for sale, and bikes hanging off exposed brick.

They’ve got all the usual coffee culprits but you can add in any flavor you like and the options are vast, including Rose, Violet, and French Nougat. 

For breakfast fare, they have a variety of toasts, from the Avocado Caprese to the Berries and Creme. There are a few paninis and wraps to pick from and you can even add on bacon or egg to make it more of a morning meal. The Butterfly Pea Tea is probably the most Instagrammable beverage available here.
